Trademarks

Usage

This section describes the permitted usage of SigmaTEK trademarks.

  • The first time SigmaNEST is used in a document as a product name, it must be followed by the ® symbol. It is normally placed in a superscript position if the rendering medium permits it—for example, "SigmaNEST® V7.0".
  • The first time any other product trademark is used in a document as a product name, it must be followed by the ™ symbol—for example, "SigmaDuct™".
  • When a trademarked slogan, such as "Nest with the Best" is used as a heading or slogan, it must be followed by the ™ symbol the first time it is used.
  • Any trademarks that appear as adjectives within the flow of text are not accompanied by trademark or registered trademark symbols. For example, "The second item on the SigmaNEST file menu…".
  • A footnote acknowledging SigmaTEK trademarks and registered trademarks may be used in lieu of the corresponding symbols.
