Export Options
SolidNEST enables users to save a layout as either a SigmaNEST workspace or a SolidWorks assembly. Users can then open up this workspace with SigmaNEST and access its additional customization and processing options or use the SolidWorks nest assembly as an input to other CAM software for toolpath and NC code generation, when necessary.
Post Processing Options
SolidNEST allows users to configure multiple machines in SolidNEST so users can generate NC code for different machines. Detailed nesting and layout reports provide comprehensive information about the total cutting times, the square and actual amount of material used, and other task data.
SolidNEST provides an effective visualization and simulation for nesting layout and toolpath sequencing. User can play, pause, rewind, forward, and "turn off" the nest layout for better visibility of toolpath.
SolidNEST can process sub-assemblies and consolidate multiple instances of the same component when creating nesting tasks.
